We have discussed, celebrated and experienced intercultural worship with each other. Deep encounters, vulnerable conversations, inspiring discoveries and a renewed vision on worship in an intercultural context.

Hans and Eric took us through the 'what, why and how' of worship in an intercultural community. Hans shared insights, rooted in God's Word and tried and tested in the practice of his years of experience, as a pastor of an intercultural church and as the leader of the ICP network. Eric shared with us his process of change, from a mono-cultural Burundian church to an intentionally intercultural community. Practical experience, personal examples and love for God and His Word were central.

From this deepening in the subject of 'intercultural worship' we have experienced a beautiful time of worship together. This was followed by a time of meeting and discussion in the individual teams. On the basis of questions and statements, the teams shared their hearts with each other and discussed how certain aspects could be worked out in practice in their own community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to grow together in being an intercultural church and look forward to another meeting with intercultural teams in our country. Keep an eye on the agenda and the ICP Update for the next events.

ICP also offers worship training on location. Knowing more? Read more…
