Study day "Let the Nations Praise You"
The Great Commission is entrusted to the congregation. A wonderful mission, but sometimes not easy in practice…
On Friday, March 24, ‘Hart voor de gemeente’ (Heart for the church) organizes a study/equip day to reflect together on the church as God's instrument to spread His glory over the earth. 'Hart voor de gemeente’ is, as part of Hebron Missie, a platform that wants to meet, encourage and equip spiritual leaders.
Many church leaders struggle to make the Great Commission part of the church DNA. During this study day in Amerongen we go back to the great goal of mission and evangelism: worship of God.
In the morning there will be 2 lectures. These are provided by Thijs van Reijn (church planter) and Dr. Martin Visser (GlobalRize). In the afternoon, four workshops are offered:
The Status of the Great Commission – Harry Lukens (OMF)
The missionary, the congregation and the mission organization – Keest Postma (ECM)
The Great Commission nearby – Hans Euser (ICF)
Jonathan Edwards and the Great Commission – Bert van Maaswaal (theologian and former church planter)
